The FIS doping Panel on 30.12.2016 has 15 minutes before the closing date for the tour of the ski communicated that it wants to decide on the requests from Alexander Legkov and Evgeniyi Belov, to lift the provisional suspension, after careful analysis of both, our application and the additional justifications in several written pleadings, as well as of the deliberations of the representative of the FIS, not without oral hearing.
The reasons are communicated in a subsequent letter. A date for the hearing also does not exist yet. The suspension remains in place for the time being. They will be decided until after the hearing.
This is the preliminary results of the joint efforts of all parties involved in the past night, to come to decision within a reasonable time. Despite opposing respective legal positions, this effort deserves high appreciation.
